Black Aluminum Semi-Privacy Wall Topper & Gate System in Granada Hills, CA

This project focused on upgrading a front property line with a clean, modern aluminum wall topper and matching gates. The goal was to add privacy and security while keeping the home’s exterior open, stylish, and welcoming from the street. The final setup includes a semi-privacy aluminum wall topper, 2 pedestrian gates, and 1 full-privacy sliding driveway gate, all designed to work as one system.

The Challenge: Privacy Without Closing the Home Off

The homeowner wanted more privacy from the street but didn’t want the house to feel boxed in or hidden. Since this is a front-facing property, the design also had to look modern and balanced, not heavy.

Key challenges included:

• Street-facing visibility: Blocking direct views without making the facade feel closed
• Multiple access points: Pedestrian and vehicle access needed to stay easy and practical
• Consistent design: Wall topper and gates had to match visually
• Limited height: All elements were restricted to a 3-foot height
